Hello my name is Samantha Castro and my parents were both involved in a severe motorcycle accident so I’m trying raise money for expenses.. They were driving 35 southbound in Middletown Nj as a Toyota struck the back of my fathers bike with my mother on the back and a sissy bar that kept her with the bike . The bike went on its back wheel and when it came down my father couldn’t gain control . They basically got spun around dragged all over the road and tossed with the bike . My dad got up had to wave on coming traffic down to stop before hitting my parents that were on the ground from getting ran over and killed . Found my mother dragged her on to the side of the road to safety she was unresponsive at the time . The guy that hit my parents either was older in shock or something but just kept saying I didn’t see you guys . Mind you it was broad day light and he hit them hard because he totaled the bike and his own vehicle . He also didn’t call 911 other people who stopped did and helped out my dad ran back over to his bike and grabbed his cell phone to call 911 and myself he didn’t know how bad their injuries were and if they were going to make it . When he called me he could barely speak didn’t know what was going on where he was and if my mom was ok . I’m the oldest daughter I have to younger sisters . So he called me incase it was going to turn out to be a different outcome . I don’t wish this on anyone the loud noises in the back my mom not responding my dad barely can talk I ran out of my apartment and rushed to the scene. By the time I was pulling up they were taking into an ambulance to a hospital in Neptune where I now had to reroute and rushed there . As I pulled up there they were just getting wheeled in the er to a trauma center both bad road rash and raw skin , clothes mangled, both shaking and barely speaking in neck braces . All I saw was blood and my parents torn up bad I didn’t know what injuries they had . I spoke to the officer. I waited by myself in a small room praying I still had parents and didn’t have to deliver the news to my sisters that we didn’t . Finally got to go in an see them . They were talking but in so much pain and highly medicated. Both got admitted and still are in the hospital . My dad has road rash not as bad as my mom he is limping on his leg and has raw skin and is in a ton of pain . My mother had road rash and as skin from head to toe , minor neck injuries , 4 broken ribs and a collapsed lung and can barely move . They are clearly out or work right now as our my sisters and I . They are going to have medical bills , their other bills and other expenses and a long road to recovery. My parents especially my dad would be so upset I’m making this if we can hide it from him and my mother and I’ll tell them at the end if we hit our goal or raise any money but I know it’s going to be a long painful struggle for all of us I’m jus trying to help them as much as I can like I’ve been doing because I don’t need them stressed anymore I need them healthy and recovering. Any little thing helps if you can even a prayer ! And thank you to all that have reached out and helped with anything that you can . It doesn’t go unnoticed and we are so blessed and grateful . Again please keep this from my parents and maybe sisters so they don’t snitch haha . Just trying to keep everything in order and play the oldest sister / daughter roll. Love you all!
